Biography - Susan Groce

My name is Susan Groce. I was born and raised in Caldwell. I married my high school sweetheart, and we own a business in Caldwell. We have one daughter and one son and three granddaughters. My husband and I are graduates of Texas A&M and are both proud Aggies! I graduated with a Bachelors in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Reading and Kindergarten Endorsement. 

I have 35 years dedicated to education. I served as a teacher from grades K-8. I have been a Dyslexia and RtI Specialist, Instructional Coach, 504 Coordinator, and TELPAS Coordinator/Trainer. For the past two years, I have served as the District’s Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

I thoroughly enjoy working for Caldwell ISD because it is a district that empowers students and staff to become leaders within themselves and to push themselves to achieve their personal goals and ambitions. It is a district that strives for academic excellence and believes each student matters.
