Biography - Kim McManus

Hello, my name is Kim McManus. My husband of 35 years and I have enjoyed our lives here in Caldwell. In fact, I am a Caldwell “hometown girl" and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. We have 2 sons and 2 grandchildren, and we enjoy our family time together.

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I continued my education as a post-graduate from Texas A&M earning a Master of Education in Educational Psychology. My career in education has included 15 years in the classroom, with 8 years of those years as a girl's coach.  I served 20 years as an administrator at CISD.  After retirement, I decided to come back to public education part-time and currently serve as the District Testing Coordinator.

I enjoy working at CISD because there is an emphasis on learning, and making sure that all needs of children are met. CISD is a district that keeps moving forward to improve the quality of education.
