Pam Evans - Biography

Hi, I’m Pam Christie Evans. I was born and raised in Caldwell by Lamar and Margie Christie. I graduated from Caldwell High School in1972 and Texas A&M University in 1989. I have been married to Jerry Evans going on 50 years. We are blessed with two daughters, Lesli Gomez and husband Chris and Lindsay Krueger and husband Gary. We are also blessed with three beautiful granddaughters, Kyleigh and Kamryn Gomez and Alison Krueger, and our spoiled Yorkie, Winston. 

I am currently retired from education after 30 years of service. Since retiring in 2012, Jerry and I love to spend time camping with friends and family. Not only do we like to travel the United States, we also enjoy fishing and boating at Lake Somerville while camping. Our granddaughters also keep up busy with sports activities.

I am now serving my fifth year as School Board Trustee. Education and technology is a passion of mine and being an educator I received so much joy watching our students advance in their studies and extracurricular activities. Since our district has given so much to my family, I want to give back as much as possible by serving on the board. We have seen a lot of positive changes in the past few years and as our district continues to grow, I want to create a positive impact that will continue to benefit our district. My goal is to see our students leave Caldwell ISD with the tools and knowledge to make a positive impact in their future careers. We owe it to our community, staff, and students to offer a district to be proud of and I will continue to work to make this happen. Caldwell ISD will be known as a positive place to educate all of our future leaders.
