Bright colors, bold creativity, and lots of imagination! 🎨🦎

Our 8th grade art students recently wrapped up their final art project by creating traditional 𝗠𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗸 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙟𝙚𝙨 — colorful, imaginative creatures inspired by Mexican culture and artistry. Each piece was uniquely designed and showcased the creativity and talent of our Hornets! #CaldwellProud #CaldwellISD

History came to life in Mrs. Reed’s classroom! 🇺🇸📚

For their end-of-year U.S. History project, students selected from a creative choice board featuring options like biography time capsules, propaganda posters, trading cards, repurposed review games, and more. The projects gave students the opportunity to showcase their learning while highlighting their favorite people and eras studied throughout the year. Great job to these students for ending the year with creativity and hard work! #CaldwellProud #CaldwellISD

After 26 years of service, Mrs. Barber is retiring from Caldwell ISD. Throughout her career, she has faithfully served students in a variety of roles, including Special Education, Dyslexia, and English. Known for her flexibility, sweet spirit, and ever-positive attitude, she has made a lasting impact on countless students and staff members. Her warm smile and heart for helping others will be greatly missed.

She was nominated by her campus staff, who say that Ajriana is a "hardworking 8th grader who always has a smile and is willing to help out in any way she can. She consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and takes pride in doing her best both in the classroom and beyond. Ajriana is also heavily involved in athletics, competing in multiple sports throughout the year, and brings that same dedication and team-first mindset to everything she does. Her positive attitude and kind spirit make her someone others enjoy being around, and she is always quick to lend a helping hand to both classmates and staff."

Caldwell ISD will host UIL physicals for the 2026–2027 school year on 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟭, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭–𝟰 𝗣𝗠 at the Caldwell Competition Gym.

This is required for students participating in 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗲𝘀, 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.
