Career and Technical Education

Caldwell ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are designed as an introduction for students to a variety of career options. Through the application of knowledge learned across all coursework, focus is placed on developing skills necessary to be successful in post-secondary and entry level environments.  CTE classes employ project-based-learning strategies and are typically held in a lab-setting.  

Programs of study are offered in areas such as Agriculture, Culinary, Cosmetology, Health Science, Business and Industry, Construction Trades, Welding and Information Technology.

Caldwell ISD offers career and technical education programs in welding, agricultural sciences, health sciences, business, information technology, construction trades, and education. Admission to these programs is based on student interest and the ability of the district to offer courses.
