๐ Caldwell Intermediate kicked off their first Books for Birthdays celebration! ๐๐ Students with birthdays from August 13th to August 31st were thrilled to receive a special token, allowing them to choose a book of their very own from our book vending machine! What a fun way to celebrate and encourage a love of reading. ๐โจ
๐๐๐ Our 7th grade science classes went out of this world today, creating a "human solar system" during their lesson! ๐ Each student represented a different part of our cosmic neighborhood, from the Sun to the Oort Cloud, helping to bring the solar system to life. Great job exploring the universe, 7th graders! ๐ โจ

Today in Theatre 1, students played Stage Direction Tic Tac Toe! ๐ Two teams competed by identifying stage areas as they moved across the board. If they got it right, they claimed their spot!

She was nominated by a coworker who said she "is an incredible educator and teacher leader. As we start the new school year, she has gone above and beyond to support her teammates and to prepare her educational environment for her students. Mrs. Burrows has shown positivity and initiative as she teaches a new course and learns a new curriculum. She is a team leader in her PLC meetings as she collaborates, leads academic discussions, and encourages her teammates to do the same. She takes the time to learn her students' needs and goes above and beyond to provide the accommodations they need to be successful. Mrs. Burrows is a great communicator and problem solver. She is always ready to take an idea or suggestion and develop it further. She is a true TEAM member and makes an impact on her grade level and our campus.
