✅ A new application is required each year.
📅 Students who qualified last year can continue their status through the first 30 days of school, but a new form must be submitted by September 24 to avoid losing benefits.

Our 1st graders had a blast today with volcano experiments after reading “𝑀𝑦 𝑀𝑜𝑢𝑡ℎ 𝐼𝑠 𝑎 𝑉𝑜𝑙𝑐𝑎𝑛𝑜.” The story teaches about the importance of waiting your turn to speak — and the experiments brought the lesson to life in a fun, memorable way!

Today, we welcomed our Pre-K and Kindergarten students for their 𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡 𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑜𝑓 𝑠𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑙. From big smiles at drop-off (with help from our amazing police department 💙🚓) to making new friends at lunch and in the classroom, it’s already shaping up to be a wonderful year. 🧡

We’re so glad to have 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘀 back on campus! 🏫🎉

📵 𝗛𝗕𝟭𝟰𝟴𝟭: 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱
Beginning this school year, Texas House Bill 1481 requires all public school districts to prohibit student use of personal communication devices — such as phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and tablets — during the school day.

Caldwell ISD will follow this state law by requiring students to keep all personal communication devices off and out of sight throughout the school day, secured in a backpack, purse, locker, or vehicle.

This change promotes a focused learning environment, reduces distractions, and encourages face-to-face interactions between students and staff.
