She has been so great with my son, and all the things he has learned have amazed me. She keeps me well informed and is always sending pictures and messages on remind about their day. There was one Monday morning where I personally felt defeated from the Monday morning typical blues. I sent her a message confirming I would be bringing his field trip money. She said thanks and then went on to tell me I was an incredible mother. That moment of kindness brought me to tears. We all have our days, and little did she know, she made the greatest impact in turning my whole day around. She is a remarkable teacher and a beautiful soul. Each class represented a different country—Team USA, Team Jamaica, and more—working hard while having a blast. 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝗭𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗱𝗻𝘆 After 36 years of dedicated service to Caldwell ISD, Becky Zavodny is retiring! Mrs. Zavodny has worn many hats throughout her incredible career. She began at Caldwell Intermediate School, teaching 4th grade for 8 years. She then moved to Caldwell Elementary School, where she taught 1st grade for 2 years and 2nd grade for 4 years. For the last 22 years, she has served as a Reading Specialist and Dyslexia Interventionist, impacting countless young readers and their families. Her passion for literacy and her unwavering commitment to her students have left a lasting legacy in our district. We are so grateful for her years of service and wish her the very best in retirement! 💛📚🎉 #CaldwellProud #CaldwellISD
