💼 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀! Our seniors participated in 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗗𝗮𝘆, where over 𝟭𝟮𝟬 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 brought their resumes and sat down for practice interviews with various local 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨. Each student received valuable feedback to help them grow in confidence and career readiness. 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝗭𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗱𝗻𝘆 After 36 years of dedicated service to Caldwell ISD, Becky Zavodny is retiring! Mrs. Zavodny has worn many hats throughout her incredible career. She began at Caldwell Intermediate School, teaching 4th grade for 8 years. She then moved to Caldwell Elementary School, where she taught 1st grade for 2 years and 2nd grade for 4 years. For the last 22 years, she has served as a Reading Specialist and Dyslexia Interventionist, impacting countless young readers and their families. Her passion for literacy and her unwavering commitment to her students have left a lasting legacy in our district. Yesterday, four of our very own Hornets stepped up in a big way—spending the day at 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗠𝗳𝗴. to help their team meet a tight production deadline during an eight-hour shift. These young men cut, filed, and punched 𝟐,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐦 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬—demonstrating grit, teamwork, and a great attitude every step of the way. A huge thank you to 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗠𝗳𝗴. for allowing our students to gain hands-on experience in the trades. Achieve the title of 𝟱 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗔𝗥 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹—and 𝟱𝟲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 rose to the challenge! 🏅 They wrapped up their two-week campaign with an ice cream celebration, generously supported by their amazing staff, PTO, and admin.
