After 28 years of dedicated service, Mrs. Susan Groce is retiring from Caldwell ISD, leaving behind a legacy of excellence, leadership, and unwavering commitment to students and staff. As Director of Curriculum & Instruction, she has continually challenged those around her to grow, improve, and strive for the very best.

Known for her determination, growth mindset, and servant heart, Mrs. Groce has always been willing to do whatever it takes to help Caldwell ISD succeed. Her faith, leadership, and lasting impact on this district will be felt for years to come.

After 13 years of dedicated service, Mr. Kim Ochs is retiring from Caldwell ISD. Known for his kind heart, reliability, and willingness to tackle any job or task, Mr. Ochs has been a valued part of the district’s maintenance team. No matter the challenge, he could always be counted on to help with a smile on his face and a positive attitude. His hard work and caring spirit will be greatly missed across Caldwell ISD.

For their end-of-year U.S. History project, students selected from a creative choice board featuring options like biography time capsules, propaganda posters, trading cards, repurposed review games, and more. The projects gave students the opportunity to showcase their learning while highlighting their favorite people and eras studied throughout the year.
