Despite school being cancelled on Monday, a large group of FFA members were early to rise and compete at the District Leadership Contest in College Station. Each student put in a lot of hard work and effort in preparation for the various competitions, resulting in four teams advancing to the area level.

-Job Interview (2nd): Halle Kocian
-Greenhand Chapter Conducting (2nd): Collin Burgess, Taylor Butters, Waylon Chapman, Clayton Ferrell, Connor Hughson, Wesley Lyday, Keith Ramon, Nicholas Rutherford, Hope Savage, and Cameron Suehs
-Public Relations (2nd): Halle Ballard, Allison Bowers, Ja'Asia Mathis, and Janna Rogers
