Awarding Credit

In all grades, the student's Credit by Exam numerical score will be documented in the student's permanent academic record when awarding credit. Scores that are not meeting the passing standard are not documented in the permanent record. Credit by Exam scores are factored into GPA in accordance with policy EIC(Local).

If a Credit by Exam is passed, your child will be accelerated or awarded credit. If you do not want your student to accelerate or are not sure you want him/her to accelerate or award credit by exam without prior instruction, your child should not elect to participate in the Credit by Exam process.
