NEW Student Enrollment

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
OPENS APRIL 18th!
 
Beginning April 18th, you can visit the online enrollment portal HERE to enroll your student. In addition to completing online enrollment, all students must provide all of the following documents:
  • a copy of your child’s birth certificate,
  • social security card,
  • immunization record,
  • photo ID of the parent
  • 2 (two) documents indicating current proof of residency.* 

 

*Proof of residency must include a current utility bill AND a copy of a current signed lease, deed or contract OR most recent property tax receipt in the parent/guardian’s name.

 
 

Pre-K Enrollment ELIGIBILITY

Children who are 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2024 and meet eligibility requirements can register for Pre-K. A child may meet eligibility criteria if he/she: 

  1. is unable to speak and comprehend the English language 
  2. is economically disadvantaged (eligible to participate in the national school lunch program)
  3. is homeless
  4. is the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces, who is ordered to active duty by proper authority 
  5. is the child of a member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces, who was injured or killed while serving on active duty
  6. is or has ever been in the conservatorship of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (foster care) following an adversary hearing held as provided by Family Code §262.201  
  7. is the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award as a peace officer under Texas Government Code §3106.002
*2 Current pay stubs or Income Statement per Household must be provided to determine eligibility if qualifying as economically disadvantaged.

Kindergarten Enrollment

Children must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2024 to enroll in Kindergarten. Students who are NEW to Caldwell ISD, and not currently enrolled in Caldwell ISD Pre-K, should complete pre-registration at this time.
