Director Bio's
Chase Owen is the Theatre director for Caldwell High School. He is the assistant for Mrs. Rasmussen at the Junior High. He graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre. In 2020 he graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Master of Arts degree in Theatre. Advancing to the state UIL OAP meet with Gem White in 2016 was a highlight of his career. Their award winning play was A Midsummer Night's Dream. They were fortunate to place 5th in 3A. When Mr. Owen is not at school he is at home with his dog Marlowe, drinking coffee and playing video games. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Geri Sue Rasmussen is the Theatre Director for Caldwell Junior High School. She is the assistant for Mr. Owen at the High School. She received her degree in Acting/Directing from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 2018. From there, she worked on productions in various places like New Orleans, LA and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mrs. Razz comes to us from Harlingen High School (6A) where she coached speech, debate, and theatre. Joining the Caldwell hive has been an exciting! When Mrs. Razz is away from the theatre, she is often hiking/camping with Mr. Razz and their son, Merit. She also loves time relaxing with her cats!Production Photos
